Sundays – During Worship Service

Childrens Church is a fun-filled time of singing, activities and a Bible story designed for children ages 4 thru 2nd grade. Children attend the first part of the worship service with their parents until an announcement is placed on the big screen dismissing them to Childrens Church. Following the service, parents must pick up their child from the Childrens Church room located in the preschool building.

Sundays – 9:30am

If you’re a young adult, then New Life is the place where you can escape the influence of the radical culture and find a sense of community. Whether you’ve chosen to enter the work force or work toward a college degree, you’ll receive the guidance and wisdom necessary to stay on-track, develop a Biblical worldview and grow deeper in your walk with Christ. Breakfast is provided weekly in the class. College students also eat free at our monthly church-wide luncheons.

Sundays – 9:30am

LIFE groups are Sunday morning Bible study groups designed to help you grow deeper in the faith. Through weekly Bible study you’ll learn how to apply biblical truth and principles to your life, develop a sense of community with other believers and discover opportunities for Christian service. No matter your age or life situation, there’s a Lifegroup ready to welcome you, because we know Together Is Better!

Sundays – Starting at 9:30 am | Wednesdays – 6:30pm

Our nursery provides a nurturing, safe environment for babies and toddlers thru age 3, enabling parents to attend a Life Group, worship service or other church event. As you dress your child for church, please know that our preschoolers are often taken outside to play in our fenced playground. In order to maintain a safe environment, our Preschool Director, paid nursery staff and volunteers have each received training in our Child Protection Policy. Furthermore, each paid worker and church ministry staff member has undergone a professional background check.

Sundays & Wednesday

At Oak Grove Baptist Church our desire is to see lives transformed by the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our student ministry aims to accomplish this through discipleship which consists of an in-depth study of God’s written Word, hearing God’s Word preached, praying together, fellowship, missions, and evangelism. It is our belief that our students are to have more of an impact on the world rather than the world having an impact upon them. We would love to have you join us, we gather Sunday, Wednesday, and various times throughout the week.

Wednesdays – 6:30pm

If you’re in 7-12th grade, then Encounter is the place for you each Wednesday at 6:30pm to 7:30pm. You’ll sing worship songs led by the Praise Band and be taught a relevant Bible message. The Youth Pastor is assisted by his wife and others who assist as small group leaders.

Wednesday – 6:30pm

Bible Travelers is the place for all preschoolers each Wednesday from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. A light supper is provided for all children at 6:15pm at no charge. A Bible study and prayer time is available at the same time for adults.

Bible Blast is a discipleship program for children grades 1-6 and meets Wednesday evenings 6:30-7:30pm. Children learn Biblical truths in both small group and large group settings, plus receive personal coaching from adult workers as they memorize and quote specific Bible verses each week. Points may be earned weekly and redeemed at the Bible Blast Store when announced. Children may arrive as early as 6:15pm to eat a light supper provided at no cost.

Wednesdays – 6:30 pm

Every Wednesday evening, Oak Grove hosts a bible study and prayer meeting for adults (all are welcome regardless of age or level or Christian maturity). The study is often more in-depth than a Sunday sermon and is a great time for us to grow in the depth of our knowledge of God, the Bible, and Salvation. The bible study is often followed by an open prayer meeting where all are encouraged to join in as we pray for the many needs among our congregation, and the global mission of Christ.

Women are invaluable to the ministry of Oak Grove. A variety of functions throughout the year allow women of every age the opportunity to build meaningful friendships, receive godly counsel and grow spiritually through fellowships and Bible Studies.

Young at Heart is a monthly senior adult luncheon and program. It meets at 12 noon on the second Thursday of each month, September through May. Coordinators are Terry and Carolyn Box.
